The school improvement process is an ongoing cycle that starts over every five years.  Aurora Public Schools started an new cycle in the 2018-2019 school year.  That cycle will conclude in the 2022-2023 school year.  The school improvement process is designed to help schools to continually evaluate and assess their progress from year to year establishing new goals every 5 years.  At Aurora Public Schools we strive to be the best we can be and the school improvement process helps us do just that.

Our school improvement goal is ” All students will improve through the use of an integrated academic, behavioral, and social-emotional tiered continuum of supports.”  During this five year cycle we will focus on ensuring that we are using a multi tiered system of supports that will meet all of our students need and help them grow, learn and be successful after high school.  All of our curriculums are aligned to our college and career ready state standards, ensuring that we are teaching our students the information that the State Board of Education deemed appropriate for each grade level and curricular area.
